Cosmetic Acupuncture

Acupuncture can be used "cosmetically" - meaning that it can help with the appearance of the skin and hair.

Chinese medicine has been used over the centuries to treat many different skin conditions - wrinkles, sagging, scarring, hair loss, skin pigmentation and similar. As such, there are many different ways that these conditions can be treated.

I approach this holistically by offering a complete program that incorporates carefully created skin care products, acupuncture, using a jade roller, gua sha and Chinese herbal medicine, along with dietary and lifestyle advice.

Depending on the condition, I will use products from the Truly Inspired! range to assist in acheiving the desired result. By solely using from this range, you can be assured of the highest quality skin care products at all times.

Cosmetic acupuncture differs from a facial as during this treatment, I will be looking more deeply - this is not a "skin deep" approach.

Generally a course of treatments is necessary, which I will discuss with you during your consultation.

Each session will consist of:

a Chinese medicine consultation
tongue and pulse diagnosis
acupuncture and other techniques depending on the condition
dietary and lifestyle advice
herbal remedies, according to your constitutional needs
